Storage and Stability:
IGF2 should be stored at -80℃ (stable for at least 1 year). The buffer contains PBS without preservative. After thawing it should be stored in appropriate small aliquots at -20℃ or -80℃ (stable for at least 2 months).

Background	Product description: Human IGF2, The insulin-like growth factors possess growth-promoting activity. In vitro, they are potent mitogens for cultured cells. IGF-II is influenced by placental lactogen and may play a role in fetal development.　 Residues 25-180 of human IGF2 were cloned, the protein was over-expressed in HEK293EBNA1 cells and was purified to homogeneity. The calculated molecular weight of recombinant human IGF2 is 19.0 kDa. The protein contains a N-terminal hexahistidine tag. The biological active N-terminal fragment containing amino acid residues 25 - 91 is purified to homogeneity. Reference sequences: Swiss-prot P01344
