Background Dab1は、神経細胞の移動・配置、樹状突起の発達などに関与する細胞内アダプタータンパク質で、脳の形成に必須な役割を持つ。

クローン4H11は、Dab1のC末(281-460)にエピトープを持ち、クローン4E12はDab1のinternal 領域でPTB(Phosphotyrosine binding )ドメインの近傍(161-320)にエピトープがある。

Reelinが受容体分子(ApoER2/VLDLR)に結合後、Dab1をリン酸化し、細胞内シグナル伝達が進行する。
